Steam Review Mafia - The Aftermath

Image
This prior week, I had MellowOnline1 join The W2 Report live stream for an exclusive look at the Obzor Steam Review ring and their effects on the Steam platform.  Today, I would like to follow up with this blog post and say what we all really need to say, Valve needs to change how reviews work, because as things stand now, the review score will eventually be controlled by who buys them for the most money. To New Beginnings (A.K.A. What the hell happened here?)

As the calendar clicks over to 2024, we go through the annuls of time and realize that it has been a lot of time since the first W2 Report way back in 2017 on the good old blog, and it is now time to refresh the blog with new blood and content. The plan is simple.  Every Tuesday-Sunday, this blog should be updated with fresh new content from Each of The W2 Report panelists and maybe one or two from guest writers, each and every week.  The Saturday before the W2 Report live stream, a preview post will be made of the upcoming episode. Now, each blog entry will be made possible by you, so please consider supporting us in our endeavor to present the news without the echo chamber. With that, please enjoy our new beginning on print. Author: Sanji Himura The Taxman to some, Sanji Himura founded The W2 Report blog back in 2017 on the heels of the Digital Homicide saga.  Disillusioned by modern gaming, Sanji speaks about the industry's health as a whole and what can be done to improve it.
